How it works:

We purchased some DNA tests from DNA Fat Switch for this review. This is what happened…

2 out of 5 of us were selected for special offers to add Ancestry reports to our purchase at a discounted price, which was interesting. These are reports that would give us a detailed breakdown of our genetic heritage and family history.

The day after our purchase, we received an email letting us know that our order shipped. 3 days later, our DNA collection kits arrived. They included simple, easy-to-understand directions about how to collect our DNA and send it back to them in a postage-paid package. We also had to register our kit online, which is standard with most DNA testing companies because it helps them keep track of which DNA sample belongs to which customer when they first receive the sample. We called their customer service team to see if they would walk us through it and they were very friendly and helpful (we didn’t actually need help, but were testing them).

Once we registered our kits and sent our DNA samples back to them, we waited…

There were individual reports based on how our bodies process Lactose, Carbs, and certain types of Fat (and many others). These were all easy to read and gave us totally new insights on how our bodies work! That alone was impressive and interesting enough, but DNA Fat Switch took it even further by giving each of us a specific meal plan designed to help us be the healthiest we possibly can be. Each diet came with recipes for each meal that were cheap, easy to make, and delicious!

“DNA Fat Switch works!”
